Happy 4th birthday Josiah Daniel! I can’t even believe that my son is 4 years old. I still remember the day we found out we were expecting him and how I was excited to get to know the little baby in my tummy. I remember when they placed him in my arms and I was overwhelmed with gratitude to God for the gift of a precious son. I remember his easy-going nature and how much fun having a son was. I remember his first steps and his chunky baby thighs. I remember how he rode a scooter on his second birthday and how he wanted to ride it everywhere. I remember all of the times that he has scarfed down his dessert and than asked for more. I remember his giggles and the laughter that he shares with his siblings. I remember how he adores his daddy and everything that daddy loves he loves.

These last 4 years are full of memories of my sweet, fun, tender, adorable, precious son. I know that one day I am going to laugh at this post when he is 18 years old, but I am amazed at how fast the last 4 years have gone. I keep telling me that he has to stay this age and he is actually staying 3, but he doesn’t believe me. I can’t wait for him to experience all of the fun of growing up, but I love the fun of this boy and just want to enjoy him. Josiah (or Siah as I call him) is a gift to me and I am so grateful the Lord blessed me with him.  This one may be my favorite. His laughter is the best. This is his forced smile. ha. Maybe this one is my favorite. My heart overflows with love when I look at this sweet image of my son. The cuteness of this boy melts me and I am so thankful for the last 4 years. I can’t wait to watch him continually grow in to the boy and the man the Lord is creating him to be.

The sweetness just exudes from him. He is, indeed, a special young man and we just love, love, love him!
